Work4Days
We do not promote one calendar model for every organisation. We test when and how a better use of time produces better outcomes.
Why time
Working time is institutional design. It shapes when people can concentrate, learn, provide care, recover and participate in civic life. Reducing days without redesigning processes may simply compress workload. We therefore study the entire work model.
Hypothesis
When an organisation removes low-value work, improves coordination and protects recovery time, a shorter week may combine sustainable performance with better job quality.
What a pilot includes
Baseline diagnosis; co-design; a clearly defined model; safeguards against intensification; indicators for performance, workload, absence, learning and quality; interim review; and a decision to continue, adapt or stop.
What it does not promise
We do not promise the same result in every sector. We do not certify an organisation as a “good employer”. We do not use satisfaction as the sole criterion.
Public value
Aggregated findings are published and contribute to policy on working time, job quality and the distribution of productivity gains.
